Scotgrip® Gangway treads incorporate the unique Scotgrip® high-traction anti-slip safety surface which gives a sound foot-holding in the most extreme conditions. These tough & durable products are manufactured under BS EN lS0 9001:2008 quality controlled conditions comprising of a reinforced composite base and a graded aggregate surface. As a Scotgrip® quality standard, these products are fire rated, spark and friction tested.

Marine gangways are renowned for being extremely dangerous, especially when the angle of the gangway is steep & the surface is wet or oily or both. Some gangways have metal or wooden spars across the surface which can be a trip hazard in itself. By installing Scotgrip® Gangway treads not only is this slip hazard eliminated but the lifespan of the underlying material is greatly increased.

Scotgrip® gangway treads have been designed in 3 different styles (stepped, bar & elliptical) to suit your individual location. These heavy duty products are easily fitted onto open grating/grille, chequered plate or wood. These treads are non load-bearing & must have a suitable underlying structure to be secured to.

Scotgrip® anti-slip gangway treads offer high visibility when boarding & disembarking all types of marine vessels by the highlighted raised treads. We have a wide range of colours to suit your individual location which will make your gangways safer.

Scotgrip® anti-slip gangway treads are designed for quick & secure fitting on your location. Our products are pre-drilled where required to aid installation.

We recommend our own fastening system for securing Scotgrip® anti-slip safety products.

Scotgrip® anti-slip gangway treads can be secured by either mechanical fixings or adhesives.

Scotgrip® anti-slip gangway treads are manufactured in a wide range of sizes (e.g. 2000mm x 600mm).
