Scotgrip^® anti-slip gangway treads will provide robust, durable, high traction safety surfaces for your marine gangways. These products are designed to fit onto your existing gangway structure and the safety of your personnel is greatly enhanced when walking up or down steep angles even in wet or oily conditions.

Marine gangways are renowned for being extremely dangerous, especially when the angle of the gangway is steep and the surface is wet or oily or both. Some gangways have metal or wooden spars across the surface which can be a trip hazard in itself. By installing Scotgrip^® anti-slip gangway treads not only is this slip hazard eliminated but the lifespan of the underlying material is greatly increased.

Scotgrip^® anti-slip gangway treads have been designed in three different styles (stepped, bar and elliptical) to suit your individual location. These treads are non load-bearing and must have a suitable underlying structure to be secured to.

Scotgrip^® anti-slip gangway treads offer high visibility when boarding and disembarking all types of marine vessels by the highlighted raised treads. We have a wide range of colours to suit your individual location which will make your gangways safer.

Scotgrip® anti-slip gangway treads are designed for quick and secure fitting on your location. Our products are pre-drilled where required to aid installation. We recommend using our own fastening system for securing Scotgrip® products. Scotgrip® anti-slip gangway treads can be secured by either mechanical fixings or adhesives.

Scotgrip^® anti-slip gangway treads are manufactured in a wide range of standard sizes (e.g. 2000mm x 600mm). We regularly manufacture custom made products to suit individual locations. Please call us with your requirements.
